The Master of Science (MSc) programme in Sustainable Energy and Energy Access is designed to provide cross-cutting skills and competencies needed to advance the development and deployment of clean energy technologies and solutions and business models that will accelerate clean energy access by the population and enterprises worldwide. This programme shall also develop graduates to be ethical, socially responsible and professionally curious in their career roles. Thus, the programme is for professionals who have passion of making positive impact in the energy sector.

The degree aims to give students sound knowledge and skills in the following areas:

  • Clean and sustainable energy technologies and systems
  • Energy markets, policies and regulation
  • Energy planning & management
  • Economic analysis and life-cycle assessment of decentralized energy system projects
  • Energy modelling and data analysis
  • Business model design and entrepreneurship
