Championing Sustainable Energy: Ms. Nelius Maina graduates from Moi University’s MSc. in Sustainable Energy & Energy Access

>On the left, Ms. Nelius with the Dean – School of Engineering, Prof. Eng. Makokha

We are proud to announce that Ms. Nelius Maina, a graduate of Master of Science (MSc.) in Sustainable Energy & Energy Access program at Moi University, successfully completed her studies and graduated during the University’s 48th Graduation held in March 2025. She was part of the second cohort supported by the prestigious REED/TEA-LP scholarship initiative.

Ms. Maina has now joined Nexus Green Ltd, a leading renewable energy solutions provider based in Kampala, Uganda, where she continues to advance her passion for sustainable energy in the region.

Through her research, Ms. Maina explored ways to improve the efficiency and long-term sustainability of large-scale solar infrastructure. Her findings provide valuable insights that will guide the design and implementation of future solar energy projects, especially those tailored to specific environmental conditions.

We congratulate Ms. Maina on this significant milestone and look forward to her continued contributions to the energy transition in Africa.
